Yesterday, CSI joined thousands of schools worldwide for Global School Play Day, a day dedicated to the power of unstructured, screen-free play. Our classrooms transformed into hubs of creativity as students built elaborate forts, challenged each other to classic board games, and shared favorite toys brought from home.
The fun didn't stop at the classroom door! During outdoor time, students teamed up with their "Buddy Classes" for a collaborative afternoon of sidewalk chalk art, team sports, and playground games. To top off the excitement, we had a surprise visit from a local celebrity—Gigante, the San Jose Giants mascot! From high-fives to dance-offs, Gigante helped make this a day our students won't soon forget.
