Dates for New School Year Announced

Agreement reached on start date, end date, and school breaks

We’re happy to announce that some key dates have been determined for the 2025-26 school year. While we will continue to negotiate the final academic calendar with our labor groups, we can share the following key dates with our district community:

• First day for students: Wed. 8/20/25
• Thanksgiving Break: Week of 11/24 - 28 (return 12/1)
• Winter Break: Weeks of 12/22 - 1/2 (return 1/5)
• February Break: Week of 2/16 - 2/20
• Spring Break: Week of 4/13 - 4/17
• Last day for students: Wed. 6/11/26
