Special Visitor on Campus: The Mobile Dairy Classroom!

Bring science and agriculture to life, this interactive assembly gave students an up-close look at where their food comes from.

Our students had an exciting, hands-on learning experience when the Mobile Dairy Classroom pulled onto campus! During the presentation, students met a live cow and observed a live milking demonstration while learning about cow biology, the four-compartment ruminant digestive system, and the modern technology behind dairy farming. The instructor walked everyone through the farm-to-table journey of milk, highlighting the importance of dairy nutrition—like calcium and essential vitamins—for healthy bodies. It was an engaging day full of fun facts, big smiles, and a deeper appreciation for local farming and agriculture!
