Sandra Tolbert
Sandy Tolbert has an authentic desire for the Campbell School of Innovation to be a safe place where learners are encouraged to create, design and innovate. They are our future leaders.
Mrs. Tolbert brings 22 years of teaching experience to CSI. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Child Development and a CLAD Teaching Credential from San Jose State University. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Education from Walden University. She was the 2015 Marshall Lane Teacher of the Year, she was a 2015 Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education award recipient, and she was a 2016 ArtsEd Grant recipient. Mrs. Tolbert has served on school leadership teams at various CUSD sites. She has also spoken at educational conferences and has served on several district committees, including the revision of our district's Digital Scope and Sequence/Profile of a Graduate/ISTE Standards initiative.
Mrs. Tolbert has mentored many student teachers and new-to-teaching first and second year teachers, with the goal of furthering the next generation of teaching professionals.
