Technology Labs
Technology access and availability are essential to student learning at Campbell Middle School and this starts in the technology labs. Distributed across the campus, the technology labs provide the latest hardware and software for student use. Students use these labs to create multimedia projects with the help of programs from Apple, Adobe, Autodesk and Google. Campbell Middle School students also have access to mobile technology carts that can turn any classroom into a technology lab for seamless, technology-enhanced instruction.
Think Tank
The Think Tank houses the library, 2 offices, and a multi-media area for students to use for design and collaboration. The library contains over 4,000 books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, reference materials, and online resources.
The CSI Think Tank is open Monday through Friday for student, teacher, and parent use during school hours.
Circulation Policies:
Transitional Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first of a two-year, specially designed Kindergarten program.
The curriculum bridges preschool and kindergarten, and includes specific strategies for supporting the unique social–emotional development and educational preparation for this group of young learners.
Visual Arts
As part of the STEAM curriculum, Visual Arts provides students with planned, success-oriented art experiences using a variety of materials and techniques. Students will produce artwork in two and three-dimensional forms, and become familiar with drawing tools, techniques, art history, color theory, painting, printmaking, collage, and either papier mache or clay. The students will study each element (line, shape, value, texture, color, space and form) of art as a unit. Several formative assignments, in addition to a larger project, are given for each unit.
